What I Do
As an instructor, I've capitalized on being a storyteller, mixing lesson/training content with personal anecdotes, engaging learners by bringing our shared experiences with the material into an everyday context, simplified to allow access for all. With my English & Education background, I am an excellent communicator and the many projects I have managed showcase my broad organizational and leadership skills.
For me, instruction and facilitation has been about fostering open collaboration and trust, as well as forging strong cross-functional teams in every room, building on the diverse, individual strengths we all bring! Because of my experience as a engaging coach and facilitator, I believe that the “human element” of connection that can be extracted from even the most mundane objectives and tasks.
You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.

Everyday, I bring my critical eye, my passion for problem-solving, and my “happy to do it” attitude. I am a true-bred New Englander who has transplanted to Florida, so I have a steadfast “long winter” work ethic and an appreciation for change and sunshine!
